Resourcing of fishing fleet upgrading
The paper considers some issues of water biological resources of the Atlantic Ocean and upgrading of fishing fleet of Northern basin enterprises. Data characterizing integration processes in the enterprises of the Northern basin have been given. It has been shown that for most of the companies lack of availability of the resources is the determining restrictive factor in construction of new productive ships. Some proposals aimed at overcoming the prevailing resource constraints in updating the fishing fleet have been made. The study used methods of groups and analysis of statistical data including the retrospective one.

Fishery in the Atlantic Ocean and food security of Russia
The paper analyzes the fish catch volume of enterprises in the Northern and Western basins and its distribution at enlarged fishing areas. The influence of specialization and structure of the catch, its distribution on the volumes of fish products in Russia has been shown. Some measures to increase unloading of fish production for food security of the country have been proposed.

Import substitution and food security (at the example of fish products)
The analysis of indicators of import and consumption of fish products in Russia and its European part has been made. The basic factors determining the level of food security and consumption of fishery products, their impact on changes in the studied parameters have been considered. Some measures aimed at reducing import dependence and increasing the consumption of fish products in the European part of Russia have been proposed.
